EDUCATORS
Our Color Edge educators are licensed hairdressers who embrace the artistry of their craft while enthusiastically sharing their color and styling skills with their peers. Our team consists of salon owners and independent stylists who are on the cutting edge of industry trends and techniques, strengthening the skills they have through educating others.
Master Educator
Reach our top tier by mastering your presentation skills and hairdressing techniques. You are now responsible for passing your brand knowledge to the lower tier team members. In addition to headlining our most attended events, you are also involved in brand photo shoots and trend forecasting.

How many years have you been a licensed stylist and what is your favorite part of your job?
I have been a licensed stylist for 13 years. My love for creating beautiful hair is what I love most about this job. You cannot put a price on the joy people get when you help them feel the beauty from within. Sharing my knowledge by teaching and mentoring others fills me with so much excitement for what’s to come. Hair is by far the most rewarding industry to get into.
What was your first job?
My first job ever was as a hostess at a restaurant in high school.
What is your favorite way to spend an afternoon?
I love unwinding and spending my afternoons with my family.Â
What has been your favorite memory working with Color Edge?
I have plenty of amazing memories working with Color Edge but my favorite memory has to be my trip to Italy where I was able to indulge in so much color theory and form part of an amazing project.
Educators
Utilize all the skills you’ve been taught and practiced til perfect by advancing to our Educator tier. You will be required to host classes and attend trade shows as a brand representative, showcasing your business and brand acumen as well as your craft.

How many years have you been a licensed stylist and what is your favorite part of your job?
I’ve been a licensed hairstylist for 16 years now. However, I was on & off for the first 10 years while venturing other interests. For the past 6 years, I have dedicated my full time behind the chair. My favorite part of the job I would have to say it’s my clients and making them feel good about themselves.
What was your first job?
My first job was a cashier at K-Mart. Shortly thereafter, I started working as a receptionist at Great Clips.
What is your favorite way to spend an afternoon?
My favorite way to spend an afternoon is going for a sunset run.
What has been your favorite memory working with Color Edge?
My favorite memory with Color Edge would have to be teaching classes. I get to share my knowledge on the brand and learn from the leading stylists.

How many years have you been a licensed stylist and what is your favorite part of your job?
I have been a hairstylist for 10 years. My favorite part of a service is making women feel good after.
What was your first job?
My first job was a receptionist at Western Dental. I decided to go to beauty school because of this job.
What is your favorite way to spend an afternoon?
My afternoon delight is kicking my feet up and playing some Sims 4.
What has been your favorite memory working with Color Edge?
My favorite memory I have with Color Edge would have to be my first class as an educator. I was so nervous, but so eager to learn a new part of me I didn’t know existed.
Associate Educators
Advance from Ambassador to Associate Educator by registering and completing the Dayglow Color Academy. This 2-day event teaches you the ins and outs of the brand, including the professional segments. Learn how to represent the brand as well as the necessary skills to successfully assist our Educators in classes.

How many years have you been a licensed stylist and what is your favorite part of your job?
I have been licensed for 3 years now, going on 4! My favorite part of the job is being able to showcase my creativity through each & every one of my clients.
What was your first job?
My first job was for a commission salon, where I was first introduced to Color Edge products & their color line.
What is your favorite way to spend an afternoon?
My favorite way to spend an afternoon would be thrifting local thrift/antique shops, or curled up on my couch with a book.
What has been your favorite memory working with Color Edge?
My favorite memory working with Color Edge would be my first Color Edge academy in January 2022, by far the coolest experience I’ve had in the beauty industry thus far!

How many years have you been a licensed stylist and what is your favorite part of your job?
I have been a licensed stylist for a little over two years now. My favorite thing about being a stylist is being able to make people feel beautiful!
What was your first job?
My first job was at Arby’s.
What is your favorite way to spend an afternoon?
My favorite way to spend an afternoon is curled up on the couch with my dogs and cat reading a good book
What has been your favorite memory working with Color Edge?
My favorite memory working with Color Edge was attending the Electra Academy. It was amazing meeting the current educators and experiencing the brand in person while learning and having fun.

How many years have you been a licensed stylist and what is your favorite part of your job?
I have been a licensed stylist for 12 years and my favorite part of the job is being able to help people feel confident and beautiful.
What was your first job?
My first job was a grocery store cashier.
What is your favorite way to spend an afternoon?
My ideal afternoon would be sitting on the patio, enjoying the nice weather with music & snacks.
What has been your favorite memory working with Color Edge?
My favorite memory with the Color Edge team would be attending the Vegas hair show.

How many years have you been a licensed stylist and what is your favorite part of your job?
I have been a hairdresser for 11 years. My favorite part of my job is being able to showcase my art through every client. My walking canvas. The connection and trust I build with everyone from clients to coworkers.
What was your first job?
My first job was in high school working at a women’s boutique store called Zizibeh.
What is your favorite way to spend an afternoon?
I spend my afternoons at the gym, singing, dancing, or having dinner at a new place (total foodie).
What has been your favorite memory working with Color Edge?
My favorite memory with Color Edge was the hair color academy. It was fun learning the fundamentals of the full line.
